Careful If Your Boyfriend Is Kalenjin And You Not!

 Kalenjin men tend to marry ladies from their tribe, according to claims. Is this true?


Kalenjin men are mostly believed to marry ladies from their tribes, no matter how hard one tries to fit in or be a good girlfriend and much more, play wife duties. Interacting with ladies, physically and in social media groups of ladies in different parts of the country, I came to realisation of the sentiments.

A certain lady was sharing how she dated a kalenjin man for six good years, and was sure of a  future with him. She had already introduced him to her friends and family. Unfortunanely, things went south and they broke up. A month later, the man had already held a "ruracio" with a kalenjin lady.

Another one shared her story too, on how the same thing happened to her a while ago. According to her, everything was okay during the relationship. "It's hard for them to let you go but the moment it's over, he gets himself a tribemate instantly", She argued.

A kikuyu lady was even taking it too far, claiming that, "You can date for eight years and after breakup, they marry in two days". This made me laugh out loud because it was kinda funny. Making me do even more research on the claims. Another one added that they are all tribal, although she didn't share her experience. 

According to the experiences ladies were sharing and have been sharing physically too, claims that kalenjin men mostly marry from their tribes were supported. "You should slap a kalenjin man anywhere you meet him", added a remorseful lady.

Another day, I overheard my neighbour, in the middle of a heated argument with his girlfriend, be like, "Afterall I'll marry my fellow kalenjin". That made my heart stitch up. Well, to mould matters in even worse shape, I another day heard the girl confront the guy, claiming that he always cheats with kalenjin ladies. Sad.

Even with ladies supporting the sentiments, it does not mean that all kalenjin men possess that behaviour. One argued that there are some who are not "like that", although are like rare gold. Not easily found.

Unless kalenjin men steps up and defend themselves by proving the world wrong, the notion will keep spreading more than wild fire.

 I meet new faces everyday. I see new birds, cars, motorcycles and even cows for the first time. Sheep and donkeys too. I meet kids and drunkards whom I'll never meet again.
